Anyone who wants to make a weekend trip to NY I’m sure they would appreciate the support of techs, performers and theatre fans alike.

At this point I don’t know if I will be around on Friday, but I should be able to be at the home opener on the 15th.

[Edit]: Indoor guard videos have been posted and tested. Videos from 2002-2006 are available. 2001 will be ordered as soon as time and finances permit.

I’ll be doing more work with the server migration tonight, chances are I can probably do some of the video processing in the background. I didn’t get home by 5pm so I don’t know if my new hard drives are in (the ones that DHL lost or someone stole off my front porch earlier this week). I’ll post more here and on the site once there’s something to report.

I finally got a call about the indoor guard stuff I ordered from BVP. If I get in touch with them tomorrow to tell them again what exactly I ordered a couple months ago, I might have something by the end of the month. I’m also doing some behind the scenes work to try to improve my sites a little bit, but at the same time reduce costs, move everything onto a server that I own and into a facility that I can manage things myself. Once this is done, maybe I can make a couple bucks to cover my expenses. Hopefully I’ll have the changes made by September, then I can try to upgrade everything to Gallery2.

The whole 7am-4pm work schedule is tiring, but it might allow me to catch a couple rehearsals if I want to. Starting in August, I will not be working Fridays so I could make football games if I wanted to. The big thing is I will be working Sundays instead, so there will be some delays in getting the site updated, but I will do what I can.

As previously mentioned, indoor guard photos from chapters at CD East (ST & Ephrata’s performances) will be available this weekend, and I intend to start working on them shortly.

One video and permission obtained and en route to me, waiting until after Wildwood to order several more, need to track down the company responsible for KIDA 2001.

I am currently working on photos from Tottenville HS’s production of Jesus Christ Superstar and at this rate it could be another week until I am finished. I may be looking for some volunteer technicians to do some help and training next Feb/March/April (whenever their show is). Details next school year.

Looks like I’m moving to Maryland, but I don’t have the full plans yet. More when I finish THS’s show pics.

Indoor guard videos: The VHS tapes aren’t in great shape, in short, I need to reorder everything. I will get to ordering the ones from BVP after Wildwood. Whether or not I will actually be there will be decided when I see my real work schedule. Currently pending permission from Talos4 Enterprises on one of the KIDA videos, and need to track down the copyright holder of the other video.

Indoor guard photos: Souderton show, I have photos from Ephrata, ST, Kutztown’s Scholastic Jr squad and the Kutztown HS twirlers. I also have several non indoor guard related photo sets to work on and will be heading to Staten Island this weekend for Tottenville HS’s production of Jesus Christ Superstar. I even rented a special lens (Canon image stabilizer technology) as a test. If I’m happy with how it works, I will probably rent a similar lens for TIA chapter championships and Wildwood.

NRS Media Services is now officially a school business partner for STSD. There probably won’t be much for me to get involved with until the summer or next school year, so that will be another details later type deal. I will post further information if and when I get additional work done be it photo or video. Feel free to comment, email, im or call with questions or whatever comes to mind. I start work in Delaware on Monday, and I have at least a week of cheap hotel living ahead of me, possibly two weeks. It’s fair to say I’ll be splitting my time between work, the hotel and hunting a residence during the week, and weekends at my apartment in Harrisburg. That should be interesting. If possible I will be at a few of the indoor guard shows, I will be at Chapters (CD East) for sure, I still don’t know about Wildwood. It’s probably a good bet that if I want to tag along to Disney that I won’t be able to spend more than a day or two in Wildwood, maybe not even overnight.
